Urban knitting in Seville (II)/ Tejiendo la ciudad de Sevilla (II)

Today it’s the day! When I woke up this morning, the first thought has come to my mind has been this, the first Urban Knitting in Seville. I was looking foward the watch shows 11:30 am and start looking pictures of the meeting. I feel a little sad because I haven’t be there, loosing the oportunity to know all people are taking part of this amazing iniciative and enjoying the festive environment. But I am happy to see that my contribution is there!

Hoy es el gran día!! Esta mañana me he despertado y lo primero en lo que he pensado es en esto, el primer Urban Knitting en Sevilla. Deseando estaba de que dieran las 11:30h y empezar a ver fotos del encuentro. Me da penita no haber podido estar ahí, para conocer a toda la gente que participa y disfrutar del ambientillo. Pero estoy contenta viendo que mi aportación está allí.

Urban knitting in Seville / Tejiendo la ciudad de Sevilla

For the attention of all knitters from Seville and its surroundings. The next December 16th (Sunday) will hold the first meeting of Urban Knitting in Seville. It will take place in the Plaza de la Encarnación from 11:00 am and it is organized by Isadora and Mildred Mola.

Working on a monster amigurumi collection! / Trabajando en la colección de monstruos de amigurumi!

I wanted to present the first monster of the collection I am working on these last weeks. Since my Little boy is with us, my inspiration is focused on him, making things which he can enjoy.

This monster hasn’t name yet and I can't wait for the help of my Little boy when he starts speaking. He will be entrusted to choose it!

Ya tenía ganas de presentaros al primer monstruito de la colección en la que estoy trabajando desde hace unas semanas. Y es que desde que está el peque en casa, mi inspiración se centra en él, en cosas que le puedan gustar.

Aún está sin nombre y deseando tener la ayuda de mi pequeño cuando empiece a hablar. Él será el encargado de elegirlo!

Being a first-time and full-time mum / Madre primeriza y a tiempo completo

We have come to 8º month-versary, how time flies!

Being a mother is an unique experience. This is what our mothers and grandmothers tell us and they are right. It’s time of exhaustion and total happiness at the same time.

My Little boy requires great dedication, more than I have never imagined. I admit I have had some moments where I thought that I couldn’t bear the situation, but nature is wise. A smile, a mma-ma or a simple look, make my body react, giving vitality and strength to carry on.

Although my Little boy hasn’t ceases to amaze me in all these months, It’s now when his progresses are incredible. And as my family and friends tell me – enjoy this time with your Little boy because it passes very fast-. And that’s what I’m doing. I’m lucky to devote 100% of my time to him.

However, I continue sewing and crocheting at times, and I hope to get time to update the blog, at least, once an week. I have much to tell!

Ya hemos llegado al 8º cumplemés ¡Cómo pasa el tiempo!

Ser madre es una experiencia única. Esto es lo que nos dicen nuestras madres y abuelas y no les falta razón. Es tiempo de cansancio extremo y felicidad absoluta al mismo tiempo.

Mi pequeño demanda mucho, más de lo que yo nunca había imaginado. Reconozco que he tenido algún momento en el que pensaba que no iba a poder con la situación, pero la naturaleza es sabia. Una sonrisa, un mma-ma o una simple mirada hacen que tu cuerpo reaccione, dándote vitalidad y fuerza para seguir adelante.

Aunque mi pequeñín no ha dejado de sorprenderme en todos estos meses, es ahora cuando los avances son increíbles. Y como mi familia y amigos me dicen – disfrútalo mucho que este tiempo pasa rapidísimo -. Y eso es lo que estoy haciendo. Tengo la suerte de poder dedicar el 100% de mi tiempo a mi pequeño. No obstante, sigo cosiendo y crocheteando a ratitos; y espero ir sacando tiempo para actualizar el blog, al menos, una vez por semana. ¡¡Que tengo mucho que contar!!
